"In recognition of your accomplishments."

The Advocate is an unknown entity or entities operating on the Frontier for unknown purposes. They have only ever been mentioned in notes passed to Pilots, offering favours for good performance and specific tasks in the form of the Burn Card, Rank Chip, Advocate Gifts.

With Advocate's favours being offered to both sides of the IMC-Militia War, it is unclear which side, if any, the Advocate supports. It could be possible that the Advocate is purposefully manipulating battles to achieve one faction's victory, or is simply implementing unknown factors into conflict for personal enjoyment. Either way, the Advocate must be of a high standing in both IMC and Militia factions, considering they're able to provide high-level military hardware to low-level pilots or speed up the production of Titans.

The emblem generally seen used by the Advocate is one of a sword behind a planet, with the words "Primus Inter Pares" ("First Among Equals") written at the top.

Burn Cards[]

"Call in a favor. Call in every favor you can. It might add up to a chance."

Burn Cards are quite literally cards containing favours from the Advocate. Before deploying, a Pilot sets the card on fire, somehow letting the Advocate know what favour is being called. These favours can range from instant Titan drops, upgraded weaponry and equipment to challenges set by the Advocate to earn bonuses based on combat performance (Such as killing Titans, Grunts, Spectres and Pilots).

The advocate is directly quoted on the Roll the Dice Burn Card, as well as the cut Extra Credits Burn Card.

The frequency and availability of Burn Cards and Burn Card packs on the Black Market suggests knowledge of the Advocate's existence is widespread throughout the Frontier.

Rank Chip[]

The rank chip is a method employed by the Advocate of tallying intra-pilot competiton. The chip, when activated, tallys a Pilot's performance in combat with variables like kills, accuracy and more. These performance statistics are then used to give each pilot a combat rating of Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum or Diamond I-V (With I being the highest and V being the lowest).

Advocate's Gifts[]

"To help start your career as a Pilot for hire, I have proviced you with a small amount of credits. Earn more and other rewards by earning merits. I have also provided you with three new Titans. Consider these a gift."

When fighting on the Frontier, Pilots may earn Merits for their accomplishments in battle (Possibly calculated by the Rank Chip), as well as credits used to buy items on the Black Market such as new Titans, weapons and equipment. The Advocate will also send out Advocate's Gifts, which can contain Patches, Banners, Camouflage patterns for use and possibly more - these can be earned throuh fighting in the Colisuem.
